Terms of service

As a My Clothing customer and by using this Website you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to change the contents of this Website, including these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice by posting such changes on the Website. We would advise all users of this Website to familiarise themselves with the Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure that they are aware of any changes. Use of the Website after a change has been posted will signify the users acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
 
Purchasing from our website

The following Terms and Conditions apply to how we supply any school uniform displayed for sale on our Website which you purchase through our Website. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
 
Orders

All orders placed with My Clothing are made to order as we carry plain stocks and then embroider or print the embellishments as required.
The prices for school uniform at the checkout stage are inclusive of VAT. Delivery is £3.95 inc. VAT on all school uniform orders up to £50 and free for orders over £50.

In the event that a school uniform product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we will notify you of the correct price and we will give you the choice of either purchasing the school uniform product at the correct price or cancelling your school uniform order. If you confirm you want the product at the corrected price, we will continue the production of your order. If payment has been charged for the purchase and you cancel your order we will, on return of the Goods, issue a refund.

Face masks, lunch boxes, pencil cases and name tapes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged as they are personalised or for hygiene reasons.

Any orders that have been raised in error or with errors, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.  You should check all emails from us (including the order confirmation), as it is your responsibility to ensure that the details in these are correct.  If there are any errors, please contact our customer services team within 3 hours of placing your order at support@myclothing.com or 0800 059 0594.

In the event that a school uniform you have ordered is no longer required, for example, due to a change of school, we are unable to refund or exchange the garments.

From August 2022 the dispatch bag will be a recyclable or biodegradable product.

Payment

We accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal. We also offer the option of paying with Klarna.

You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to our payment service provider can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Delivery

All orders received are made to order as we carry plain stocks and then embroider or print the school logo as required. We do our best to get your school uniform to you as soon as possible (within 7 days).

School uniform items supplied are subject to availability of stocks at the date of your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your school uniform may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock. In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.

In the case that the address you have provided us with is incomplete or incorrect, this will result in the courier returning your order back to us the sender. Re-delivery of your order can only be actioned when address information is complete and correct, customers may be charged for any additional costs incurred for this service.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check confirmation emails to ensure all information provided is correct, any errors or amendments should be reported to our customer service team as soon as possible preferably by phone within 3hrs of placing your order. We can not be held responsible for items lost in transit due to incorrect or incomplete information at the time of ordering.

We reserve the right to change the courier at any point. This change will be aimed at improving service and importantly at no extra cost to the customer.

Donations

Our donations policy as it currently operates will close.

We aim to replace this with a charitable solution.

The closure to new customers took place on the 1st June 2022.

The closure to current customers is effective 1st August 2022.

The closure of the scheme means donations will not accrue on sales after those dates.

Payouts of donations to current customers for dates prior to 31st July 2020 will continue until July 2023 (the longstop date).

A current customer for this scenario is defined as having an order relating to a school within the last two full terms prior to the end of the donations policy. The terms are those beginning Jan 2022 and April 2022.

The schools should contact MyClothing Support email address (schoolsupport@myclothing.com) to request payment of their donation.

This payment will then be made between the date requested and the final longstop date.

Cancelling your order

If you wish to cancel your order you must contact us via phone within 3 hours of placing your order. 
 
If you have contacted us after the order has entered production, we are unable to refund your order.

Complaints Procedure

In the unlikely event that we fail to meet our high standards of customer service, please do not hesitate to contact us by email at support@myclothing.com or by phone at 0800 059 0594.

We will do our very best to deal with your complaint as soon as possible and make every effort to reach a satisfactory conclusion on your behalf in order to retain your valued custom.
 
Security

We use Shopify Payments and PayPal as our payment service providers (PSP). Shopify Payments processes millions of transactions a day and are used by thousands of businesses who outsource their transaction security. It is our top priority to ensure that our customers’ transaction data is kept secure at all times and we take this role seriously.
 
Privacy Policy

We take the privacy of our users seriously. Our privacy policy governs the way in which we process any personal information that you provide to us. If we decide to change our privacy policy for the Website, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. You can access our home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data. 

We are compliant with all relevant GDPR restrictions. Therefore, should you attempt to discuss another customer's order with our customer service team we would be unable to disclose any information.
 
Data Processing

Personal information will only be collected with your consent. Your personal information (which includes your name, address and any other details you provide to us which identify you as an individual) will be processed by us.

We will use your information for the purpose of administering our relationship with you, such as:

fulfilling orders placed by you; email/telephone numbers supplied to courier company to ensure a timely delivery; processing any other transactions authorised by you; informing you of special offers; undertaking product or customer research/development and providing other marketing information to you which we think you may find of interest.
 
Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire understanding relating to the use of the Website and supersede all other statements, representations or warranties (whether written, made by email or oral) made by MyClothing. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the liability of either party in respect of any misrepresentation, warranty or condition that it makes fraudulently. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions are reserved by MyClothing.

Competition Form - Win a year of school uniform from MyClothing: Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: MyClothingLTD, Company Address 
  2. The competition is open to people aged 18 years or over except employees of MyClothingLTD and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no minimum purchase to enter this competition. 
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. The route to entry for the competition will be via lead generation entry on Meta
  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  7. The closing date for entry will be 27th August 2024. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  13. 1 winner will be chosen at random by software from all entries received across each calendar month and verified by MyClothing and or its agents.
  14. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. 
  15. The promoter will notify the winner and when the prize will be redeemed.
  16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by UK law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
  19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  20. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
